For my exhibition I chose to focus on the violin. I started playing the violin when I was six years old and since then I never stopped playing.
I interviewed three different musicians to understand what music represents to them and I also conducted a Violin Club in Busy Bees class. I played some games with them about high and low pitched sounds, sad and happy pieces, fast and slow pieces. I found that music’s inclusive nature allows everyone to participate in a collective form of creativity, even if we only listen. Because music is universal, it brings us together.
