Among the many stories that bring our school to life, Sara Casagrande’s stands out for her passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to creating an environment where everyone can grow, collaborate, and thrive.
There’s something magical about the moment when you discover your true calling. For Miss Casagrande, Head of the DP Program at H-FARM International School, that moment came as a revelation in 2015 when a chance encounter with a former teacher completely reshaped the course of her professional life.
With a degree in Business Administration and a promising career as a transfer pricing consultant at one of the Big Four Companies, Miss Casagrande felt that something wasn’t quite right. Reflecting on that time, she shares:
“I kept wondering, who am I really doing this for?”
The answer came when her former professor invited her to help establish a small international school. It was then that everything fell into place.
In 2019, Miss Casagrande joined the H-FARM International School family, initially as a Business Economics and Spanish teacher. However, her dedication and vision quickly led her to take on increasingly significant leadership roles, culminating in her current positions as Head of the Diploma Program and DP Coordinator. In these dual roles, Miss Casagrande not only guides students in selecting courses and completing IB requirements but also oversees the entire academic structure, ensuring the program aligns seamlessly with the school’s vision and the IB framework.
“It’s not just about facing new challenges, but about creating an environment where everyone can grow, collaborate, and thrive.”

Outside the classroom, Miss Casagrande nurtures a variety of passions. Sports, music, and spending time outdoors are just a few of the activities that keep her curiosity alive. However, it’s her connection with students that brings her the greatest satisfaction.
Among the most memorable moments in her career, Miss Casagrande fondly recalls graduation ceremonies, which reaffirm why she chose this path: to be part of students’ journeys as they discover their place in the world.
“Seeing students cross the stage, knowing how much they’ve grown and how much I’ve grown alongside them, is a moment of great pride. Not just for their academic achievements but for the relationships we’ve built along the way.”
