Easter Bonnet Parade Vicenza

Easter Bonnet Parade Vicenza

On Friday, April 18th, the EY and PYP students at H-FARM International School Vicenza took part in our much-loved Easter Bonnet Parade. This cheerful event brought the entire learning community together in a celebration of imagination, personal expression, and springtime.

The Easter Bonnet Parade is a special opportunity for students to design and wear handmade bonnets inspired by Easter and the season of spring. With the support of their families, the children created unique and colourful headpieces featuring flowers, animals, eggs, and much more. Each bonnet reflected the student’s creativity and personality.

In the days leading up to the parade, students discussed spring traditions and the meaning of Easter, both in school and at home. The creative process helped to build connections between school life and family moments, giving students the chance to share something personal with their classmates.

On the day of the event, the school was filled with excitement as children arrived proudly wearing their creations. The parade route took students through the school grounds, where they were greeted with applause and encouragement from staff and classmates. The joyful atmosphere made the event not only fun, but also memorable.

This experience supports the development of confidence, creativity, and communication, while strengthening the sense of belonging within our school. It also shows the power of learning through celebration and community.

We thank all families for their support and enthusiasm. We are already looking forward to seeing next year’s bonnets!
