IB Diploma Results 2025: From Venice to the World, Our Students Shine

The results of the IB Diploma 2025 stand as proof of something that goes far beyond simple academic excellence. They represent resilience, a global mindset, and deep, meaningful growth. From Venice to the world, we are proud of every step our students have taken.

This year, our students achieved an inclusive average score of 31.2, above the global average of 30.58, while the top 40% of the cohort reached an average of 35. An impressive 88% of students were admitted to their first-choice university, compared to the global average of 81.26%, and more than half – 51.7% – earned the prestigious Bilingual Diploma. The core score continues to rise, reaching 1.8 this year.

However, beyond the numbers, there is something even more important. As our Head of School and Head of DP & DP Coordinator said during the Graduation Ceremony:

“Success comes in many forms, visible and invisible, loud and quiet. Sometimes it’s an award. Sometimes it’s choosing to begin again. Our hope is that you always define success on your own terms, rooted in empathy, courage, and integrity. The most powerful kinds aren’t always seen right away, but they’re always worth the wait.”

To the Class of 2025, we offer our most sincere congratulations. We are proud not only of what you have achieved, but of the people you are becoming. Over this intense year, our second-year Diploma Programme students have demonstrated open-mindedness, curiosity, and a strong desire to grow and develop their talents.

Our students’ international outlook is reflected in their choices: 54.29% applied to just one country, while 45.71% chose to apply to two or more countries, ranging from Australia, South Korea, and Singapore to the West Coast of North America. The most popular destinations have been the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, and Sweden.

The academic interests of our graduates span a wide range: Business and Economics were the most popular choices, followed by Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biology, Agriculture, Engineering, Psychology, and Liberal Arts. University applications reflect a remarkable breadth, covering traditional pathways such as Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Architecture, and International Relations, as well as more specialized and interdisciplinary fields including Fashion and Textile Technologies, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Japanese Studies, Comparative Literature with Film Studies, Agriculture, Nutrition, Media & Culture, Sports Management, Food Technology, and many other unique programs.

Some of our students gained admission to highly selective programs at prestigious universities such as University of Warwick, UCL, LSE, King’s College London, Durham, Bocconi University, University of California (San Diego, Davis, Irvine), and National University of Singapore, as well as to numerus fixus International Business and Psychology programs at Maastricht University and Groningen University, and to the highly selective PPLE (Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics) program at the University of Amsterdam. In the health sciences, our graduates have faced demanding selection processes and earned places in highly sought-after medical programs at Humanitas University, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy, and Universidad Católica de Murcia for Dentistry in Spain.

To the Class of 2025, we renew our warmest congratulations. We are proud of your achievements, and even more proud of the thoughtful and inspiring people you are becoming.
