Collaborating with Specialisterne for the inclusion of neurodiverse workers

The company celebrates World Autism Awareness Day with new milestones that involve our H-FARM Digital Marketing team.

Born in Denmark in 2004 and active in 22 Countries, Specialisterne is a socially innovative company, operating in Italy since 2017, that trains neurodiverse people and supports companies in creating the conditions for these employees to thrive.

On the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, the Italian branch celebrates two recent milestones:

  • the launch of the Salesforce Academy, with 10 students currently learning Salesforce technologies who will be hired by companies like ours (within the Digital Marketing team);
  • the development of an online training process to allow people from all over Italy to become qualified professionals.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects almost 2% of people. Although many people with autism are talented professionals or can become so, today 85% are not actively employed. This situation is primarily caused by a lack of knowledge about neurodiversity and its value in the workplace.

Companies like everis, Avanade, and IBM also collaborate on this work and social inclusion project.
