Run4Hope

H-FARM International School Vicenza is proud to take part in Run4Hope 2025, a national initiative that brings schools and communities together to support the Fondazione AIRC in its work on pediatric cancer research.

This year’s edition of Run4Hope will take place from April 5th to 13th across all Italian regions. It is a non-competitive relay event designed to promote awareness and raise funds for research, involving thousands of students, schools, and organisations throughout the country.

Our school will join the initiative on Tuesday, April 8th, with a relay run involving all programmes. The day will begin with our Early Years students, who will walk a short route in the school courtyard, marking the symbolic start of the event. The baton will then be passed to PYP, MYP, and DP students, who will complete a 1 km run at Parco Querini. This handover symbolises collaboration, continuity, and shared responsibility—values that are central to both the event and our school’s approach to community action.

On March 28th, our MYP5 class proudly represented H-FARM International School Vicenza at the official press conference held at the Vicenza City Council Hall, where the initiative was presented to the local community and media. Their presence highlighted our school’s involvement and commitment to the cause.

Every student taking part will receive an official event bib, which includes a QR code that families can scan to make a direct donation to Fondazione AIRC. All contributions collected will go entirely toward funding research into pediatric cancer.

Together with our sister schools in Rosà and Venezia, the H-FARM community will be represented by a total of 1,030 students, highlighting the scale of our shared commitment to this cause. This wide participation reflects the importance of giving our students opportunities to take part in real-world initiatives that support social good and collective effort.

Beyond its symbolic value, the event also serves as an opportunity to talk to students about health, research, and the role of civic engagement. Teachers will support the day with in-class discussions and activities that help students understand the broader impact of their participation.

We are pleased to support Run4Hope and to join so many others across the country in contributing to such an important goal. We look forward to seeing our students, staff, and families take part in this shared moment of awareness and action.
