40 NEW SCHOLARSHIPS, 5 RESERVED FOR ITALIAN STUDENTS
H-FARM International School launches the second edition of Technology Leaders of the Future, offering 40 full scholarships funded by the Timashev Foundation
H-FARM International School officially opens applications today, December 1st, for the second edition of Technology Leaders of the Future, the international scholarship program designed to identify and support outstanding young talents in STEM disciplines. The initiative is created and funded by the Timashev Foundation, reaffirming its commitment to providing global access to advanced education.
The first edition of the program generated extraordinary interest, with over 1,200 applications received from across CIS and Baltic countries and 32 students selected through a rigorous evaluation process (with an acceptance rate of 2.5%). Building on this success, the 2025 edition expands its reach and impact with 40 full scholarships, covering all academic, boarding and travel expenses, for a total value of more than € 200.000 per student.
A Program Designed for High-Achieving STEM Talent
Technology Leaders of the Future offers a comprehensive academic pathway focused on mathematics, physics, computer science, and design technology. The program integrates advanced coursework, interdisciplinary labs, competitive STEM activities, and mentorship from specialised faculty. Its mission is to foster a new generation of leaders capable of addressing the world’s evolving scientific and technological challenges.
In line with this goal, Antonello Barbaro, Director General at H-FARM International School, emphasises the strategic importance of strengthening STEM education at a global level:
«While these skills are becoming increasingly crucial, 40% of global companies report shortages of qualified profiles for key roles that require them.
Mathematics stands at the core of STEM, powering the discoveries humanity needs to move forward: from quantum computing to pioneering engineering solutions, from innovative materials for space exploration to transformative progress in medical science and biology aimed at improving quality of life and longevity. These advancements, and many more, will be within reach only if we continue to push the boundaries of mathematics, physics, and computer science».
As further highlighted by Emiliano Cori, Head of School: «This scholarship is, above all, a commitment. It expresses our belief that certain young people carry a rare potential, and that it is our responsibility to give that potential room to grow. It is not simply financial support; it is an opportunity to step into an environment where their curiosity and discipline can take root.
Each scholar who joins us changes the school in real ways. They bring their background, their questions, their way of looking at the world. This diversity sharpens our way of seeing and broadens our understanding of what learning can be. It strengthens the sense of community we want to build: one grounded in respect, collaboration and openness.
What we aim to create together is not only strong academic achievement, but a place where young people come to know themselves, to gain confidence, and to develop the steadiness of mind needed for the challenges ahead. If they shape the future, it will be because they have learned to think with rigour and to act with integrity».
New Eligibility: The Program Opens to Italy
A major evolution this year is the expansion of eligibility.
For the first time, students from Italy can apply. This decision reflects the desire to broaden the program’s geographic reach and include a wider community of high-potential students. In addition to the CIS Countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine – and the Baltics – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania-, all students aged 14-16 coming from Italy, Cyprus, and Israel could send their applications.
A Commitment to High-Quality Global Education
Through this initiative, the Timashev Foundation enables talented students, regardless of economic background, to access an international education that prepares them for top universities and future careers in STEM-related fields.
H-FARM International School provides an academic environment aligned with the demanding standards of the International Baccalaureate, supported by an innovative campus ecosystem.
Applications for the 2025 edition open today, December 1st.
High-achieving, motivated students are encouraged to apply and join this unique academic journey.
