Celebration of Completion 2025 — Not Just an Ending, But a Beginning

There are moments in school life that stay with us more than others—not because of their formality, but because of what they awaken in us.
This year’s Celebration of Completion was one of those moments. A rite of passage, full of emotion, honest words, and silent looks that said more than any speech ever could.

As students walked across the stage, collecting diplomas between held-back laughter and a few tears, what truly stole the show—in the most genuine way—was the speech delivered by the student representatives. A speech that gracefully held together irony, depth, gratitude, and affection.

“When we sat down to write this speech after three weeks of end-of-year exams, we really had no idea what to say. And this isn’t necessarily a bad thing.”
That’s how it began. No clichés, no forced formalities. Just truth—the kind that makes you smile, think, and remember.

With heart and a light touch, the students captured what made this year unforgettable: the shared trips—“memories were made, food was eaten, and a lot of walking was done”—the classroom stories, sometimes hilarious, sometimes sharp, and the ever-present sense of growing a little more every day.

They name-dropped teachers with jokes and anecdotes, recalling small episodes that, while simple on their own, together tell the story of a meaningful experience. From chemistry described as “trauma bonding”, to philosophical debates with Mr. Castillo, from the indescribable pain of math exams to the quiet dedication of the Personal Project mentors.

“To everyone who wasn’t mentioned: take it as a good thing! And know that we appreciate you all.”

But above all, their words captured what lives between the lines of a school year:
“We’ve laughed through stress, navigated uncertainty, and somehow managed to find balance between coursework and chaos.”
And again:
“It’s not just the achievements we’ll remember, but the people, the energy, and the sense of being part of something that moved forward.”

This might be the most powerful part of the whole celebration: that deep sense of belonging, of shared transformation, of a community that has walked together—sometimes running, sometimes stumbling—but always looking forward to what’s next.

To those who lived this year as protagonists, we offer our warmest applause.
To those who supported them—families, teachers, staff—our heartfelt thanks.
To all of them, we leave this wish: carry with you every step, every struggle, every laugh.
Because in the end, this is just the beginning.
