From H-FARM to Division 1 USA: Ludovica’s American Dream Becomes Reality

We are proud to announce that on November 13th, known in the United States as National Signing Day, one of our students, Ludovica, signed the NLI (national letter of intent), a contract that marks the beginning of her academic and athletic journey at Old Dominion University. She has been awarded a *full scholarship* to study civil and naval engineering while competing in Division 1 golf, the highest level of collegiate sports in the United States.  

This achievement is the result of sacrifice and determination, constant training, and balance. It’s proof that passion, combined with the right support, can truly turn dreams into reality.  

During her four years at H-FARM International School, Ludovica found a unique environment that nurtured both her academic and athletic development. While the IB program is known for its rigor and demands, Ludovica’s personal organization, along with the flexibility of the school, were key to her success in both areas. The school never asked Ludovica to choose between academics and sports but instead worked alongside her to create a tailored path that would support her in balancing her sports calendar with academic commitments.  

We are also proud to say that Ludovica’s story is not the only success where academics and competitive sports go hand in hand. Our community shines with talents such as Giacomo Cappelletto, who earned a scholarship to Boston University for rowing, and Haddy Gomez, a member of the Brazilian national shooting team, who chose Italy and H-FARM to train with the best coaches in the field.
