Panathlon International honours Leonardo for his dedication and achievement

We are delighted to share some exciting news: Leonardo, a PYP5 student, has won the 1st Prize from Panathlon International, receiving recognition for his sailing skills, his dedication to schoolwork, and his consistently respectful and fair attitude.

His passion for sailing began when he was very young, during a holiday with his mother—an immediate attraction that, combined with his family’s sporting tradition, led him to pursue this sport with great consistency.

Despite his sporting commitments, Leonardo manages to maintain an impressive balance between school and training. His teacher describes him as a positive, kind student who builds strong relationships and always contributes to the class community. He particularly excels in mathematics, where the focus developed through sport seems to have become a real strength in his learning.

This award celebrates not only a sporting achievement, but also a journey shaped by passion, discipline, and natural enthusiasm.
