“A concrete step towards building a strong community of passionate young students in these key subjects”

Barbaro, CEO of H-FARM Education: “50 full scholarships are immediately available for students aged 14 and up, along with a dedicated team of teachers for this important project.”
A special scholarship program exclusively dedicated to talented students in mathematics, physics, computer science, and design technology has been launched. The project foresees a task force of educators to support the students in these specific subjects, further enhancing the existing school faculty.
The H for Human Foundation has introduced a program aimed at supporting outstanding students in STEM disciplines, enabling them to pursue a rigorous academic path focused on these subjects at H-FARM International School.
“Our goal is to actively contribute to building an academic community passionate about subjects that are increasingly essential for societal development,” explains Riccardo Donadon, President of the H for Human Foundation. “We are developing skills and resources to make a real impact. The first step is a dedicated fund that allows donors from around the world to give students the chance to accelerate their educational journey.”
The program is designed to provide academic and infrastructural support to talented students in scientific fields, enhancing their learning experience.
“While these skills are becoming increasingly crucial, 40% of global companies report shortages of qualified profiles for key roles that require them,” says Antonello Barbaro, CEO of H-FARM Education. “Mathematics is a fundamental subject in a world where technology can increasingly contribute to solving global challenges, from climate change to the development of new economic models, and open unexplored frontiers in the medical field.”
H-FARM International School has further strengthened its academic offering, which already meets the rigorous and ambitious standards of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. This enhancement is aimed at providing students passionate about scientific disciplines with the opportunity to challenge themselves continuously, guided by highly qualified and inspiring teachers along their growth journey.
The special fund supporting this program already offers 50 full scholarships covering the costs of both school tuition and boarding services. Additionally, it enables the recruitment of specialized faculty members dedicated to developing these key skills. This exceptional initiative will help build a community of particularly talented and promising students.
“An international pathway aims to deliver excellent academic preparation within a context where values like community, sharing, tolerance, and diversity are essential,” explains Emiliano Cori, Head of H-FARM International School. “This project allows our school to take another step forward in educating young people who will take on the responsibility of improving the future of our planet.”
“A cornerstone of this program is the enhancement of knowledge and skills in mathematics,” adds Liliana Braescu, Mathematics Curriculum Expert and Program Leader. ”We will work with talented students to push the curriculum to its limits, leveraging activities like Olympiads to tackle real-world problems and develop problem-solving skills, with cross-disciplinary projects spanning physics, mathematics, computer science, and design technology.”
The first selection phase is reserved for students who are citizens of CIS countries and Baltic Republics. These students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in H-FARM’s international school environment, connect with Italian culture, and explore the roots and traditions of the host country. To apply for the scholarship and participate in the selection process, students must hold citizenship of one of the listed countries, even if they do not currently reside there.
“The first significant donation we received is further proof of our commitment to supporting young talent through high-quality educational opportunities,” concludes Barbaro. “Being chosen as the top school from a list of more than 500 worldwide makes us even prouder of the path we have taken.”
Moving forward, the Foundation’s fund will gladly accept donations from anyone willing to contribute to this initiative, extending opportunities to other regions around the world. This will ensure that talented young individuals, regardless of their background, have the chance to nurture their passions and abilities.
The H for Human Foundation, registered with RUNT, has recently been declared a Certified Public Charity by NGO Source, a U.S. organization created by the Council on Foundations and TechSoup to qualify philanthropic activities.
