Lunch Clubs calendar – MYP
Enrollment will begin on August 4th at 12:00 (CET/Italy time).
You will receive an email informing you that the link to the registration form on the websites is active.
Reminder: A non-competitive medical certificate is required to participate in SPORTS activities from PYP1 to DP2.
The school is offering on-campus medical certificate appointments to support families. Boarding students will arrange their certificates through their Boarding House, with the cost included in their boarding fee.

PYP children are escorted to the buses by school staff or sports coaches.

The Micro Basketball course is a fun movement-based activity designed specifically for preschool children. It is not traditional basketball, but a psychomotor and introductory sports program where the ball becomes a tool for exploration, learning, and fun.
What do we do during the lessons?
We play and move: We develop fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching through engaging obstacle courses and playful activities.
We improve coordination: Using lightweight balls and child-sized hoops, children develop hand-eye coordination, balance, and overall motor skills.
We grow together: Children learn to interact with others, share games, cooperate, and follow simple rules in a positive group environment.
Our motto: Have fun! Every lesson is an exciting adventure in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child can enjoy movement and discover new abilities without any competitive pressure.

Club: Venice Longboard School ASD
During the course, children will have the opportunity to explore the world of skateboarding in a fun and safe way, experimenting with different disciplines such as surfskating and longboarding, using Stradivarius boards.
Designed for EYU children, the program focuses on the acquisition of basic techniques, such as pushing, turning, and moving on ramps, developing balance, motor coordination, and spatial awareness.
Students will be supervised by expert riders from the Stradivarius team, who will guide them step by step in a safe and stimulating environment.

Join the Outdoor Explorers club, where students will discover the wonders of our beautiful green campus. This course offers children the opportunity to explore and learn about the area’s unique flora and fauna. This club prepares students for official LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art – with an internationally recognised qualification ) exam in a range of performance styles, including acting, devising, musical theatre, public speaking, verse, and prose.
Important: All students who choose to join the club must take at least one LAMDA exam, which involves an additional cost (further details will be shared during the School Year). Students will also need to practise their parts at home to prepare fully.
Students should attend one session per week, choosing either Monday or Wednesday.
Through fun and focused sessions, students will develop communication skills, explore different characters, and learn techniques to perform confidently on stage or in front of an audience.

A club focused on the wonderful natural environment which surrounds our beautiful campus. Children will watch birds, search for insects and learn about the wildlife which surrounds them, in a fun interactive format.

This afterschool course, designed for Y3-5 students, combines language learning with traditional cultural experiences through an integrated teaching model.
This year, we are expanding our Chinese Course offer by introducing an Intermediate Course designed for students who would like to continue and further develop the learning journey they started last year.
The Beginners course will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. The Intermediate course will take place on Tuesday and Thursday. The two groups will share the “Cultural module” on Thursdays, but will differenciate the “Language module” according to their level.

We will offer a trial week during the first week of school (7–11 September), giving students the opportunity to experience both activity sessions before making their final choice. Tommaso holds a degree in Educational Sciences and has been a parkour/acrobatics instructor since 2013. His passion for jumps and acrobatics began at a young age and has grown through years of training and enthusiasm.
Parkour, a sport originating in France as a military training technique, focuses on improving physical performance and movement style. Translated from French as “Path of the Fighter,” its goal is to “move to learn to move,” thus improving spatial movement skills.
The course covers landing techniques, landing styles, jumps, and flips useful for tackling courses using gymnastic equipment such as parallel bars and mats. The motto of this sport is “be strong to be useful,” emphasizing physical strength as a means of utility.
Ideal for those interested in exploring dynamic movement and acrobatics in a controlled and stimulating environment.

During the course, students will have the opportunity to experience different skateboarding disciplines, including surfskate and longboarding. The program is open to both complete beginners and students with previous skateboarding experience.
For beginners: Learning the fundamental techniques of pushing, turning, and balance.
For more experienced riders: Developing skills on ramps and pump tracks while refining their own personal riding style.
The course focuses on improving balance, coordination, and self-confidence through a combination of technical practice, strength-building exercises, and group activities.

Founded in 1997 in Quarto d’Altino, Annia Sports Club is a multi-sport association with both boys’ and girls’ basketball teams and is affiliated with the Reyer basketball development program.
Through basketball, children not only develop motor skills, coordination, and balance, but also learn important values such as teamwork, respect for rules, cooperation, and self-confidence. Every training session is an exciting adventure that combines sport, friendship, and personal growth!

Artistic Gymnastics
Artistic gymnastics helps children develop coordination, balance, strength, agility, and body awareness through movement and structured activities.
Lessons are designed according to age and ability, creating a safe and motivating environment where students can learn fundamental skills, build confidence, and progress at their own pace. The discipline also promotes important values such as commitment, teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.
Ketty Titon
Ketty Titon began her gymnastics journey in Canada and later joined the Italian National Team, competing internationally. After her competitive career, she became an International Judge and Federation Coach, sharing her experience with young athletes.
Today, she works as Technical Director for a sports association in the Venice area, supporting the development of gymnasts through a combination of expertise, passion, discipline, and enjoyment.

H-FARM’s BMX courses are designed to introduce participants to the exciting world of BMX, encouraging them to push their limits and discover what they’re capable of!
Participants will learn to ride through the various features of the H-FARM Freestyle Park – Italy’s first Olympic BMX Freestyle training center– while taking part in fun games and activities that promote both personal growth and teamwork within a community of freestyle riders.
For anyone looking to try something different and experience a completely new approach to sport, this is the perfect course!

More complex movements and body control techniques are introduced, always with a focus on safety and proper execution. All movements are functional for everyday life and help build a solid fitness foundation. Classes last one hour, during which a coach guides you step-by-step through the warm-up, explanations, and practice, ensuring an effective and fun workout.
