A new face in Boarding: welcoming Tim Allen, our new Head of Boarding at H-FARM International School 

A new academic year also brings new faces to our Boarding team. We are delighted to introduce our new Head of Boarding, Tim Allen, and his vision of what boarding should mean and offer to our students, emphasizing the role it plays in strengthening our community. 

“I am delighted to introduce myself as the New Head of Boarding at H-FARM International School and feel privileged that both Emiliano and Antonello have entrusted me with helping move boarding forward and develop our provision to become the European School of choice! 

I am incredibly excited to be joining the School community as I make the move over from the UK with my family and look forward to getting to know both you and your children over the coming months. 

Despite starting my career in the world of Sport, Boarding education has always been something I am deeply passionate about and I bring with me extensive leadership experience working within both UK and International boarding environments. Throughout my career I have had the privilege of supporting young people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures helping to create boarding communities where students feel safe, heard, supported, valued and able to thrive. 

I strongly believe that boarding should be somewhere of endless opportunities and feel like a second home but with structure and routine – a place where students are encouraged academically, socially, while also developing independence, resilience and lifelong friendships, building positive relationships with students and maintaining strong and transparent communication with parents are both extremely important to me. 

What particularly excites me about H-FARM is the opportunity to contribute to an already strong boarding culture and continue creating an environment where every student feels happy, cared for and inspired to achieve their best in whatever field they choose”.
