Mini University Fair: our students meet universities from all over the world
“Some of these students know exactly what they’re looking for, and they ask the right questions to find it.”
That was one of the impressions shared by the representative of Tetr College of Business at the close of today’s Mini University Fair, hosted on our Venice Campus. Organised by our University Counselling and Career Guidance team, the event brought together 12 universities from around the world to meet our students from MYP4 to DP2, through information stands, presentations and one-to-one conversations.
From the Netherlands, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen joined us with its research focus on Energy and Climate, Public Health, Sustainable Development, and Digitisation and AI, alongside EU Business School, with its many European campuses and programmes in International Relations, Business Finance and Sports Management.
From London came Royal Holloway, University of London, home to one of the UK’s leading Psychology departments, while The University of Hong Kong presented several courses ranked among the top 40 in the world. Switzerland was represented by EHL Hospitality Business School, globally renowned for its Hospitality Management programme. We also welcomed ESCP Business School, with its Management pathway and multi-campus model; Tetr College of Business, which offers a hands-on, entrepreneurial learning experience across several countries; and CEFAM Centre d’Études Franco-Américain de Management, with its focus on global business, leadership, marketing, finance and international experience.
Completing the line-up were Albert School, which combines business, data and technology across its European campuses; Geneva Business School, whose offer includes a Bachelor’s in International Management with the opportunity to earn a dual degree through its global network of partner universities; Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, a leading name in cutting-edge research and clinical experience; and Bremen-based Constructor University, with its strong focus on STEM.
Taking ownership of your own future at such a young age can feel a little daunting. And yet, once again today, curiosity was the driving force for our students.
“What struck me most was their clear and constant search for stimulation, and for an active environment that makes academic life fulfilling in every sense, beyond what happens in the classroom,” added the representative of EU Business School. “I believe H-FARM International School students really stand out in this respect.”
Not every answer about the future comes in a single day. But today our students showed they can already do the most important thing: ask the right questions.
