Mini University Fair #2: questions, curiosity and new paths
Choosing a university is one of life’s first big decisions, and the sooner you start exploring, the clearer the path becomes.
That’s why yesterday we held our second Mini University Fair for students from MYP4 to DP2, an event designed to connect them with future university opportunities and support them in theirguidance journey.
This time, eight universities from around the world took part, and questions, curiosity and conversations were the common thread of the day.
Among the participants was Swiss Education Group, a network of leading hospitality schools in Switzerland offering bachelor’s degrees in fields such as International Hospitality Management, Business and Luxury Brand Management, with the opportunity to gain solid experience through extensive internships. From Spain came UCAM Universidad, known for combining academic study with practical experience and for its strong links with the professional world. Its most popular bachelor’s degrees include Business Administration, Sports Management and Computer Engineering.
From Italy, we welcomed the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, one of a kind, dedicated to the study of food from cultural, scientific, environmental and economic perspectives, and RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, an international university based in the Italian capital, offering practice-based education in the visual arts, including Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Photographyand Film. Also present were IED, an international design school with campuses in Italy and Spain and close ties to the creative industries, and NABA, a contemporary art and design academy based in Milan and Rome, offering an international, project-based learning environment.
Finally, all the way from Philadelphia, Temple University, a major research university offering a wide range of degrees, including Business, Media and Communication, Engineering and Computer Science. And of course, H-FARM College couldn’t miss out, with industry-driven programmes offered in partnership with the University of Chinchester and Ca’ Foscari, combining tech innovation, business creation and hands-on learning.
Eight universities, eight different ways to imagine the future. For our students, it was a chance to ask questions, compare options and start building their own path, one step at a time. Thank you to all the universities that visited us!
