We are supporting the industrial gases and engineering company in finding relevant startups to solve real business problems. SHORTCUT is a programme by Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company, targeting leading-edge startups with solutions to tackle business problems and opportunities across the world.

Our role is to support the company in promoting the programme through our international network of startups, with the goal of identifying the most relevant solutions for Linde's specific business challenges

Current challenges are:

Smart Product Database
With several thousand products, Linde Gas is serving customers across many industries and needs to maintain a large quantity of product-related information such as technical descriptions, pictures, and documents in multiple languages. We are looking for automated solutions to improve the management of this data and reduce the manual effort.
Application deadline: 19 March 2021

Fast and efficient lead-time prediction in silicon wafer production
Linde's customer Infineon Technologies produces hundreds of different semiconductor products, and the fabrication of each product involves a huge number of process steps. They are looking for solutions that predict lead times automatically, accurately and fast leveraging a huge amount of historical MES data (SQL DB).
Application deadline: 16 April 2021

Find here all the details and application forms.

The most promising startups will be selected and pitch their products to the responsible senior decision-maker of Linde's local business.

Then, Linde and its local businesses will execute and often sponsor a paid proof-of-concept to verify the value of the solution. This process is expected to take no longer than 3 months.
