We are honoured to announce that our MYP 3 A and B classes yesterday received the award as Junior Designer of the year!

One year ago these two classes took part in a fashion competition organised by Junk Kouture that challenges schools to design, recycle and create high-end sustainable fashion from recycled garbage. In these months our students have been working on an outfit that they have entitled “Tree of life” because it represents a tree and it is divided into three parts: roots, trunk and crown.

With this project they wanted to convey a powerful message of celebration and gratitude for our beautiful world that gave us life and needs to be respected. This is reinforced with a poem written on the umbrella -a part of the outfit- that says: “ La bellezza della rosa è una follia di salvezza".

They were selected as one of the 10 Italian finalists who competed yesterday in the first Junk Kouture World Final in Abu Dhabi and we are so happy that their work paid them off.

“Thank you to all my MYP3 students, to all my Literature Plus students, to Elisabetta Armellin and to everyone who contributed to this incredible award” these are the words of our amazing teacher @elenapinnen who supported our students during this journey.

For us, H-FARM International School, it’s essential to provide our students with all the instruments and support they need to be able to express their voices and talent and we will always encourage them to explore uncharted paths and transform every challenge into a growth opportunity. Congratulations students, we are so proud of you!

Ad maiora semper!
