At Rosà, this new school year too begins with great joy and enthusiasm. Welcoming new students for the first time and seeing familiar faces again, in a safe and serene environment, allows us to carry forward a stimulating academic journey in which learning happens naturally.

This is how Head of School, Ms Caterina Pattanaro, introduces the new school year.

“Our aim is to walk alongside you in a relationship built on trust and collaboration, supporting every child and young person as they bring out their potential, cultivate their passions and face every challenge with confidence.

Over the past year we worked intensively behind the scenes on our integration into the global Nord Anglia Education network. This year it becomes real: all the preparation of recent months comes to life in the classrooms and in everyday activities, translating into valuable new opportunities for our students and our teachers.

This journey is reflected first and foremost in the chance to experience a more connected world. Our students will begin to explore global learning opportunities through the Global Campus platform, through initiatives in collaboration with MIT and through Social Impact projects, alongside international expeditions. At the same time, we have put people and the quality of teaching at the centre: our teaching staff can now access high-level continuing professional development through Nord Anglia University, and have already taken part in international leadership programmes, with the aim of bringing every new idea and methodology straight back into the classroom. Alongside this is our continued investment in physical spaces, from the Quantum Lab to the play areas, because we believe that the environment children live in defines and expands what they can create and explore each day.

Finally, a large part of the work we have done concerns what is not always visible but underpins the whole of school life: we have strengthened our safeguarding and security protocols, our information management and the resources dedicated to the wellbeing of the school community.”

It is in this spirit that the Rosà Campus and all of H-FARM International School will accompany students throughout the year.
